The Michigan Association of RVs & Campgrounds (MARVAC) will host a webinar at 1 p.m., Feb. 17, with Joe Underwood from the Michigan Secretary of State to discuss the Electronic Lien and Title (ELT) program that begins on March 16.
The ELT program will allow for the electronic exchange of lien and title information with lienholders in lieu of a paper certificate of title, according to the MARVAC release. ELT is intended to minimize the threat of fraud and help keep the interest of financial institutions safe. Eventually, all financial institutions will be required to participate in the ELT Program.
