RVs at the Lakeside Travel RV Park in Tallahassee, Fla., took damage due to Hurricane Michael on Wednesday (Oct. 10), according to WTXL.

Judy Bretherick said her family evacuated the park, but they left their RV behind. A pine tree fell on the tail end of the RV, opening the bedroom drawers and knocking out their contents.

She says the upper part of the park received most of the damage.

“We are just lucky that we weren’t here. Most of the people left and we thought we could leave the RV because it’s a pain to move,” said Bretherick. “You know next time we’ll know, this is our first big hurricane.”
