The Michigan Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds toured three campgrounds during its Fall Convention Oct. 19-21 at the Comfort Inn In Chelsea, Mich.
Seventy people representing 30 campgrounds attended the convention, reported Wayne Purchase, executive director.
Tours were conducted at Greenwod Acres in Jackson, Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn and Apple Creek Campground & RV Park in Grass Lake.
Seminars were held on the subjects of accounting, cleaning “green” and recycling, the Michigan film industry and geocaching.
During the election of officers, Deb Nagle of Lincoln Pines Resort in Gowen was re-elected president; Tom Briggs of Grand Rogue Campground & Paddle Sports in Belmont was elected vice president; Bob Kern of Countryside Campground in Harrison was re-elected treasurer; and Cathy Krueger of Frankenmuth Jellystone Park was elected secretary.
