A proposal to convert the Rolling Hills Golf Course in Pelican Rapids, Minn., into a park for recreational vehicles has been approved, the Fergus Falls Journal reported.Â
By a 4-1 vote on April 14, the Scambler Township board awarded a conditional-use permit that allows the conversion of the golf course into an RV park.Â
The Rolling Hills Golf Course is a 42-acre site owned by the Flem family since 1966. In the proposal, Scott Olson will turn those acres into room for about 150 RV units. This park would be operated by Olson alongside the current RV park Olson also owns on the southwest side of Pelican Lake.
