Phase 1 for upgrading Red Bluff Campground in Pucky Huddle, Mo., is now in place. Becky Ewing, forest ranger for the Mark Twain National Forest, which operates the campground, said that she plans to eventually eliminate camping in the flood plain of the Huzzah Creek.
Ewing said the new main camping area will see some modern improvements, according to mymoinfo.com.
The Pines Overlook camping area will remain about the same except for an overlook platform constructed to offer safe viewing of the Huzzah Creek and the bluffs.
