February motorhome retail registrations increased 5% compared to the same period a year ago while sales for the first two months grew 9.3%.
According to the latest report by Statistical Surveys Inc. (SSI), Thor Industries Inc. was the motorized sales leader through February with a 29.8% market share, ahead of Forest River Inc. (21.2%) and Winnebago Industries Inc. (15.1%) share.
Sales in the Class A motorhome market rose 7.7% in February, while the sector posted an 8.1% gain year-to-date. Thor led the segment with a 24.5% market share followed by REV Recreation Group (16.4%), Forest River (14.9%), Winnebago (14.7%), and Tiffin Motorhomes Inc. (13.9%).
Class C registrations were up 2% in February and 10.8% for the two months. Thor was the sales leader year-to-date with a 36.2% market share, followed by Forest River (28.9%) and Winnebago (15.5%).
