North Dakota Ordinance

West Fargo (N.D.) will now consider development of a campground in agriculturally zoned areas of the city’s extraterritorial areas, according to INForum.

Prior to the proposed ordinance change on Monday (April 1), the city’s ordinances had no way of allowing such proposals for campgrounds.

Planning Director Aaron Nelson said the change would allow campgrounds in agricultural areas and would not be permitted within city limits, only in the city’s extraterritorial areas.

“This does not allow any specific campground,” Nelson said. “Nothing has changed since this action was before you on March 4.”
