Motorcycle riders throughout the Northeast made the Second Annual KOA Fall Poker Run in Copake, N.Y., a success.
The event was a fundraiser to benefit KOA Care Camps for children with cancer. KOA Care Camps is a network of 44 specialized summer camps throughout North America that provide a safe, quality summer camp experience for children undergoing treatment for cancer.
The Poker Run was extremely successful with double the amount of riders as the previous year, and allowed the campground to meet their total season goal of $5,000 raised for the charity, according to a news release.
Copake KOA extended thanks to Saugerties KOA, Woodstock Harley, Freihofer Independent (Jim Troeger) and Dad’s Diner (in Copake) and to all of the riders for helping support a great cause.
