The New York state parks system has opened a new campground by the Hudson River, the Associated Press reported.
State parks officials said the new 67-site campground at Schodack Island State Park in Rensselaer County accommodates tents and trailers, with 43 sites offering electrical hookups for RVs.
The $1.5 million campground is open through Dec. 5 to accommodate hunters and anglers.
Schodack Island State Park is off the eastern shore of the Hudson River south of Albany.
