Plattsmouth, Neb., has a 29-acre riverfront parcel the town would like to see turned into a 190-site, year-round RV park/campground, City Administrator Ervin Portis said in an email to Woodall’s Campground Management.
“The property may be purchased or leased by a qualified developer company and the city offers $1.2 million in cash and tax incentives to assist the developer,” Portis said.
The Missouri River site includes three cottages overlooking the river and a marina. If a developer wants to buy the property, the city is offering it for $1.5 million.
The site is available for tours up to Feb. 19, and formal proposals are due to the city by March 18. To get a full copy of the request for proposals, contact Portis at [email protected], 402-296-2522 ext. 302, or find it online at www.plattsmouth.org. You can also find it by clicking below.
