New property owners at The Ridge at Mountain Falls John and Marilyn Harris explained why they purchased a motorcoach lot at the North Carolina luxury resort, which is reporting “an unprecedented increase in buyer interest and rental reservations.”

“There is no other place in the world where you can do a 360-degree turn and see the Blue Ridge Mountains and the South Carolina foothills all at the same time and be able to call it your own,” said John Harris. “The ambiance and view is incredible.”

The Harrises are very knowledgeable regarding the motorcoach industry, the lifestyle, and what it has to offer. Joh Harrisn serves on the board of directors for RV manufacturer Foretravel, according to an announcement from The Ridge and Mountain Falls.

They were drawn to Mountain Falls region because it caters to their interest in the outdoors and hiking. “We love that we can walk off our property and be on one of many trails of the national and state forests that surround the resort. Often times we hike all day and never see another person,” said Marilyn Harris.

As an avid runner, Marilyn Harris said she particularly enjoys running around Lake Toxaway under the shade of the trees.

Mountain Falls is nestled between Asheville and Cashiers, N.C., and Greenville, S.C. “It’s an easy drive for people who want to go shopping or eat out at a restaurant,” said Marilyn Harris. “People who work far away can easily fly in on the weekends to spend their time here.”

The Ridge includes custom-designed coach cottages crafted to fit the interests and needs of each individual property owner.

The Harrises’ design included an outdoor covered patio with ceiling fans and a fireplace for entertaining. Other cottages will include elaborate kitchens, outdoor bars and even a sewing room.

Several cottages will be debuted June 14, 2014 during the Coach Cottage Showcase.

The resort will have a clubhouse with a variety of amenities including a golf course.
