Owner Terry Blanton is closing High Falls Campground in Barnesville, Ga., and opening a new, as-of-yet unnamed RV park in nearby Jackson. The transition will occur in January.
The new park will be open year-round and cater to RV owners and feature 40 50-amp sites, a new bathhouse and laundry. Additional sites may be built at a later date.
Approximately 26 permanent High Falls Campground residents are relocating to Blanton’s new park, according to Ruth Cain, an assistant to Blanton. Blanton operated High Falls for about three years.
The new RV is located about a mile from Exit 198 off Interstate 75 in north central Georgia.
