In business since the ‘60s, Crystal Lake Campground and RV Resort near Lodi, Wis., has been under new ownership since April and the new owners are bringing fresh ideas, the Lodi Enterprise reported.

Nathan Trappe, who owns the campground with his wife, Missy, and their four children — Trinly, Kinley, Kelbie and Emerie — says Crystal Lake is one of the best-kept secrets of the area and he’s looking to get the word out.

“I can’t believe a lot of people in the area don’t know what we have out here,” he says. “We encourage everyone to come and check out what we have.”

Off of the 200-foot sandy beach at the edge of Crystal Lake floats several large water toys for kids, and the kids-at-heart, to enjoy. There’s also mini-golf, a skate park, a jumping pillow, Olympic sized swimming pool and much more for residents, campers and visitors to take pleasure in.

The many amenities are included with a camper’s stay, but Trappe says for a small charge, the public can also spend the day having fun at the campground.
