Beginning Aug. 1, the price for entering North Dakota state parks will increase.
According to the Bismark Tribune, as part of a fee hike the North Dakota Legislature passed during this year’s legislative session, the cost of a daily vehicle pass will increase to $7 from the current price of $5. The daily vehicle pass, which provides full access to parks for the day, last increased in 2000.
The cost of an annual pass will increase to $35 from $25, a change that will go into effect Nov. 1 when the 2018 annual pass goes on sale.
