Northgate Resorts has built 20 new cabins at its Clay’s Park Resort in Ohio.
Big improvements are in the works at Clay’s Park Resort in North Lawrence, Ohio, according to The Alliance Review.
Northgate Resorts, owner of the recreation destination near Canal Fulton, has several upgrades planned, including the construction of 20 new cabins.
Julie Vis, a marketing associate with Northgate Resorts, said the new cabins will be available to book soon for the upcoming season, which begins in mid-April. The new accommodations double the cabins available to rent at the campground.
Each new unit has a private master bedroom with a queen bed, a set of bunk beds, a loft with accommodations for two, a full-size bathroom and a futon, Vis said.
They also have a grill, picnic table, fire ring, refrigerator, oven and microwave. Basic kitchen furnishings are provided. Some of the units will be pet-friendly and have ADA-accessible options, she added.
They will allow campers to be closer to the park’s Adventure Water Park, which features a 10-acre swimming lake with two 150-foot water slides, zip-lines, ring swings and inflatables.
“It’s really exciting the things we have coming,” Vis said.
