Northgate ResortsNorthgate Resorts, the Grand Rapids, Mich.-based operators of RV resorts across North America, announces the addition of three new directors who will be based at the company’s home office in Grand Rapids, according to a press release.

Katy Hallgren, a licensed professional landscape architect (PLA), brings more than 15 years of experience to her new position as director of architecture, planning and design. With a background that includes resorts, recreation and residential projects, Hallgren will collaborate with Northgate’s leadership, including designers and operators, to develop a cohesive vision and strategic plan that aligns with the company’s mission of providing a camping vacation experience that exceeds guests’ expectations. A graduate of Oklahoma State University, Hallgren serves on Michigan State University‘s Architecture Alumni and Board for the School of Planning, Design and Architecture.

After an honorable career in the United States Army, where he retired as the Command Sergeants Major/Director of Recruiting for the Michigan Army National Guard, David Stafford has made the transition to civilian life as Northgate Resort’s director of talent acquisition. In the next few months, Stafford will oversee the hiring of more than 1,200 permanent and seasonal workers across the United States.

A native of Michigan, Addison Wittry has been named director of Brand Strategy bringing a wealth of experience to his new position. With an agency background in digital brand strategy, Wittry has worked with global companies in such markets as Canada, the United Kingdom, Japan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). As a creator of campaigns for top tourist destinations, as well as consumer packaged goods, higher education and non-profit organizations, Wittry is tasked with growing Northgate’s Camp Fimfo brand as it continues to expand.

Northgate Resorts is aggressively hiring more than 1,200 positions during the next couple of months. Six positions remain open at the company’s home office with the bulk of openings located throughout the United States. Positions range from managers and supervisors to permanent and seasonal frontline workers.
