Beaver Brook Campground, a popular campground with frontage along Androscoggin Lake in Maine, will reopen in May as the Augusta Jellystone Park, the newest Jellystone Park Camp-Resort in Maine, according to a press release.

The 203-site park was acquired by Grand Rapids, Mich.-based Northgate Resorts, which is improving the park with a new dock system with 32 rental slips, renovated bathhouses, new jump pads, renovated retail space and property-wide Wi-Fi.

“We’re extremely excited about welcoming Beaver Brook Campground into our Northgate Resorts family as a Jellystone Park location. We look forward to providing guests with a memorable experience and we have exciting plans for the park,” said Northgate CEO Zachary Bossenbroek.

Located 17 miles west of Augusta, the park is situated on a scenic 150-acre site with wooded campsites, a tranquil brook, and a half-mile of frontage along beautiful Androscoggin Lake.

Existing park attractions include a water play area with water slides, an 18-hole miniature golf course and a disc golf course.
