As the temperatures drop with the arrival of fall, a Jefferson County (Oregon) resort that many people have never heard of is making the off-season more enjoyable with tiny homes and hot tubs, according to the Central Oregon Daily News.
New features that promote health, wellness and year-round enjoyment have been added each year since Kirk Hanna purchased the Lake Simtustus Resort in 2018. Most notably are the 15 tiny homes ranging in size from cozy for couples to slightly larger for families that can sleep six in comfort.
It offers 55 acres of tiny homes, private lakefront access, RV parking spots with full hookups, rental RVs and glamping in insulated tent structures. The new Glamping Ridge that opened this year is a place where families share furnished, landscaped patios, enjoy cooking s’mores over provided fire pits and sleep in their individual tents at night.
