The National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (ARVC) is pleased to announce PlainsCraft Covered Wagons as a new Select Partner, according to a press release.

“This partnership is a significant stepping stone for the world of outdoor adventure, bringing together National ARVC’s expertise with PlainsCraft’s innovative spirit,” states the release. “With PlainsCraft’s distinct products, parks can attract a new demographic of adventurers who seek the charm of traditional outdoor living paired with modern comfort.”

PlainsCraft creates hand-crafted covered wagons for parks and campgrounds looking to expand their glamping options.

“PlainsCraft Covered Wagons is based in Kansas, so when we learned the National ARVC conference and expo was heading to Kansas City this year, which is essentially our backyard, we knew we wanted to celebrate in a big way,” said Dennis Steinman, CEO of PlainsCraft Covered Wagons. “We are proud to partner with National ARVC to introduce attendees to everything we love about Kansas City and to share its history and ties to our brand. We can’t wait to share what we have in store and are thrilled to support this outstanding organization as a Select Partner.”

Outdoor Hospitality Conference and Expo (OHCE) attendees can look forward to an immersive experience with PlainsCraft on-site this year. They will be showcasing a Pony Wagon in the Expo lobby near event registration, and a large covered wagon model just inside the entrance to the Expo floor. Attendees will get a first-hand look at the wonderful craftsmanship of these models to see what all the hype really is about, noted the press release.

Aside from being the home of PlainsCraft and the host city for OHCE2023, Kansas City is also the Oregon Trail’s primary starting point. This unprecedented combination alongside PlainsCraft’s featured sponsorship of the OHCE2023 mobile app, has led to an exciting on-site opportunity for attendees: the Oregon Trail game in real life-ish. The theme for the on-site attendee game played through the app is the Oregon Trail, but you won’t die of dysentery.

The grand prize for the winner of the game is free registration to OHCE2024 in Oklahoma City. So, if you’re looking to play a real live version of the Oregon Trail alongside your fellow campground owners, OHCE2023 is the place to be.
