Owners of a Bantam (Conn.) campground are preparing for a public hearing today (Dec. 21) on a plan to build an RV park on Klug Hill Road, according to The Register Citizen.

The Planning & Zoning Commission is holding a public hearing and discussion on the site plan, which will be presented by Cozy Hills Campground owners Lelah Campo and Dan Mahieu. The couple first presented a concept plan for the project, along with a zone change request, in January 2022.

The campground will be an upscale, resort-level property, Campo said. According to the site plan and maps submitted by the applicant, the park will have 100 RV sites, in an oblong loop in the center of the property, with groups of sites in circular developments or clusters. Campo said the sites will be spaced apart for privacy.
