The Pennsylvania Recreation Vehicle and Camping Association (PRVCA) is currently accepting nominations for its 2nd Annual “Volunteer of the Year” award set to be presented during the annual membership dinner party on Sept. 10 in Hershey, Pa., during the Hershey America’s Largest RV Show, according to a press release.

Industry members are asked to nominate a PRVCA member to receive this honor.

All nominees must meet the following criteria:

— Member goes “above and beyond” with his or her commitment to PRVCA
— Must serve on a PRVCA committee or is a past or present board member
— Recognition can include a specific achievement or a variety of PRVCA support

Anyone in the RV and camping industry may submit a nomination, which must include a short essay explaining why the nominee deserves the “Volunteer of the Year” award. Submit your nomination to Heather Leach, PRVCA executive director, at [email protected]g by Aug. 9.

PRVCA Chairman Greg Starr will present the “Volunteer of the Year” Award during the annual membership party at the AACA Auto Museum. In addition, the association will present the Education Achievement Award to the company participating in the most PRVCA training from Sept. 2018 – Aug. 2019.

PRVCA presents Industry Days at Hershey America’s Largest RV Show Sept. 9-10. The industry is invited to attend education training sessions on Sept. 9 and Sept. 10 at the Giant Center. In addition, PRVCA offers a special industry show preview on Sept. 10 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
