Nicer weather means tourism season is right around the corner and one campground near Rapid City, S.D., is getting ready for a big year, television station KEVN reported.
Rapid City RV Park and Campground has been open since 1965, but has since been purchased by new owners in January of 2015.
Tom St. Hill, one of the new owners, Â said people love to stay at the campground because of its close proximity to not only all the attractions the Black Hills has to offer, but also being close to town so people can dine and shop in Rapid City.
St. Hill said they are getting the campground cleaned up and ready to go for opening on May 1. The park is already getting phone calls and online reservations for the summer season.
