“Invigorate 2013: Inform, Influence & Inspire” is the theme for the Northeast Campground Association’s (NCA) 49th Northeast Conference on Camping March 21-23 in Sturbridge, Mass.

The three-day affair, held in the Sturbridge Host Hotel and Conference Center, is annually one of the nation’s largest gatherings in the outdoor hospitality industry.

Jim Rogers, CEO of Kampgrounds of America Inc. (KOA), will give the Keynote Address the morning of March 22.

Motivational speaker Tim Richardson also is scheduled to speak during the conference. Richardson will provide the Friday Awards Luncheon Keynote “Success By Choice,” a Saturday morning special presentation for exhibitors titled “The ABCs of Making The Most of Every Trade Show Experience” and an afternoon workshop for everyone titled “THINK! New Ideas Bring Change.”

The two-day trade show also is one of the industry’s largest each year.

On the final day of the conference, state associations from Connecticut, Massachusetts and Vermont will hold state association meetings.

“We are very excited about our program for our 49th annual event – Invigorate 2013,” reported Cyndy Zbierski, NCA executive assistant and conference coordinator. “NCA has made sure to present a program that is useful and important to the business plan of all owners in the camping industry and fun. This includes the smallest campgrounds with even less than 50 sites to the the largest parks up to 1,000 sites.”

The members of NCA, campgrounds from Maine to Maryland, will be entertained by The Quest, will have opportunities to talk with campground owners of similar size properties to their own, enjoy morning yoga, learn from over a dozen topic-specific seminars, attend state meetings, win cash, support NCA through the annual auction and clown around during a night of carnival fun.

Focusing on business best practices, NCA has invited Robert Siciliano, personal security and identity theft expert, to update members on personal security and awareness and the Regional Development Director of Constant Contact to speak on social media marketing.

NCA represents more than 1,100 member campgrounds in 10 Northeast states: Connecticut, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont.
