RoverPass has announced the launch of a new product offering: Premium Listings for campgrounds and RV parks on the RoverPass Marketplace, according to a press release.

Customers who opt for a premium listing will be featured at the top of search results for campers looking to book a site.

RoverPass Premium Listings will offer the top three spots for search categories available to any campground, RV park or resort on the RoverPass Marketplace. Owners with a listing in a top position will secure more exposure for their property and enjoy a greater opportunity for more bookings and revenue. In fact, it was reported by backlinko.com this past year that for the majority of search pages, 54.1% of all clicks and visits were received by the top three listings, which highlights the release.

“By RoverPass’ own estimates, premium listings will receive up to five times more traffic from campers searching for their next booking and find up to three times the returning traffic from campers comparing different campground listings. Across the RoverPass Marketplace, campgrounds appearing in the top results consistently see an average of up to 20% more bookings than similar campgrounds in the same area,” states the release.

“We decided to offer premium listings as a way to help our customers further promote themselves,” said RoverPass CEO Ravi Parikh. “The RV travel industry can have tough competition with so many choices. Our premium listings give campgrounds a way to easily invest in their own marketing and receive more bookings without putting in the extra effort.”

Lastly, the RoverPass Marketplace will remain free for campgrounds and RV parks to list on, even if an owner does not wish to upgrade to a premium listing. Campgrounds across all listings will be available to the millions of campers who search through RoverPass each year. Owners can enjoy the additional traffic brought by RoverPass’ extensive distribution network with industry partners.
