RoverPass, an online RV park directory and reservation system, announced the release of  its cloud-based inventory management for campgrounds and RV parks. The new release will accelerate growth of the RoverPass platform, which already hosts one of the largest directories of RV and camping locations in the U.S, according to a press release.

The RoverPass Reservation Management System joins a lineup of free software and services provided to campground and RV park owners, and allows parks to accept reservations online automatically based upon their site availability — a huge improvement in campground and RV booking that has been commonplace for hotel reservations, explained the release.

“Having a real-time site availability calendar has been the most requested feature for a long time,” said Jimmy Pocock, RoverPass’ chief product officer. “After months of hard work, the development team is excited to release what we feel is the best product of its kind.”

The software is free to use for property owners, but packed with features like configurable rules to set prices based on site type, season, day of the week and more. Travelers can view available sites for their dates and provide payment, which is transferred directly to the campground owner’s account.

“We’re focused completely on improving our property management technology,” said Ravi Parikh, RoverPass’ CEO. “RoverPass is providing free and robust software that has lacked significant innovation for years. Our recent achievements show that this platform is on track to become the gold standard for campground and RV park management.”

Along with this new software product, RoverPass is now offering digital marketing and marketing automation services to campgrounds and RV parks to fill a gap in marketing expertise in the RV industry.

“We want to provide all the tools necessary for growth in this industry,” Parikh said.

Over 400 parks have adopted the RoverPass reservation system, and the new software features are expected to unlock new growth and attract sophisticated RV park operators that required significant automation. As RoverPass expands, the organization is working to offer even more features that cater to the RV industry, including flexible and long-term payments.
