Pigeon Forge Landing

Pigeon Forge Landing is RVC Outdoors’ newest resort and will continue to grow as the company works on a second phase of the project.

Pigeon Forge Landing RV Resort in Pigeon Forge, Tenn., is now open, according to a press release.

The latest resort by  RVC Outdoor Destinations, a provider and developer of outdoor resorts in the United States, Pigeon Forge Landing RV Resort is the region’s newest RV and camping destination. With views of Mount LeConte and a mile of riverfront along the Little Pigeon River in the heart of the Smoky Mountains, the 37-acre property is located at 455 Lonesome Valley Road just off Pigeon Forge Parkway.

Pigeon Forge Landing now features 149 RV sites and 10 camping sites overlooking the river. All RV sites include level concrete pads, fire rings and grills, picnic tables, full hook-ups with 30/50 amp service and Wi-Fi. The secluded rustic camping sites also include level pads, fire rings, grills and picnic tables with riverfront views. Planning is currently underway for phase two of the property which will include luxury “glamping” tents, a pickleball court and an additional 90 RV sites.

Set along the Little Pigeon River, Pigeon Forge Landing will play host to an array of riverside activities with tubing and kayak rentals, an illuminated riverwalk, and fishing along one of Tennessee’s premier trout fishing and smallmouth bass streams. The community picnic pavilion will serve as a gathering place and will feature a variety of programming throughout the busy spring and summer seasons with live entertainment, food trucks and other events, notes the release.

The family and pet-friendly property includes a pool and hot tub, playground, a dog park and golf cart rentals. The Lodge houses onsite concierge services, a retail store, a conference room, as well as a fitness room and laundry facilities.

In celebration of the opening and the Arbor Day holiday, RVC will be planting trees commemorating guests staying at the property the weekend of April 30. Guests who utilize promo code ARBOR will have a tree planted in their honor that will include a personalized plaque to commemorate the occasion for years to come.

Like all of RVC’s resorts, Pigeon Forge Landing complements the natural environment where it is located and was developed to make the least impact to the surrounding areas and celebrate the natural wonder of the region, notes the release. Pigeon Forge Landing has partnered with the locally-based Greenbrier Bee Company to install & manage hives on the property as part of the brand’s BEECause initiative, which aims to educate guests about the importance of bees to our ecosystem.

RVC will donate proceeds from the honey sourced from their onsite hives to support local beekeepers and bee-friendly causes.

The safety of guests and team members is a top priority and all CDC-recommended protocols remain in place at every RVC Outdoor Destination in response to the current COVID-19 pandemic.
