EDITOR’S NOTE: The following is a News & Insights report by the RV Industry Association (RVIA.

National Go RVing Day 2026 was our biggest celebration yet — and it happened because RV industry businesses across the country got involved.

Below are a few examples of ways our industry helped generate excitement for the special day:

  • CRR Hospitality properties held fishing tournaments, offered nostalgic activities, and brought together the community over campfire socials.
  • TravlFi ran a flash promotion on National Go RVing Day, communicating with its audience via email and other channels.
  • Coachmen RVs IG reel celebrating the little things.
  • RV Trader produced a YouTube video featuring the special day (see below).
  • The RV Insider shared an Instagram post with ways to get involved on the day.
  • Happy National Go RVing Day IG reel from Grand Design RV.
  • Why Go RVing? YouTube short from Great American RV.
  • Jayco Facebook video highlighting the RV-2-50 passport.
  • Patrick Industries celebrates its Traveling Allies and their National Go RVing Day plans.

National Go RVing Day succeeds when the industry acts together. From social media posts and email campaigns to local events and earned media outreach, brands across the country helped inspire RVers to go RVing.

National Go RVing Day may be over, but the opportunity continues. Keep the momentum going by incorporating RV-2-50 content into your marketing efforts, encouraging travelers to explore America by RV, and promoting the Travel Passport and Share Your Story contest year-round.

Every social post, customer conversation, media interview, and promotion helped create a nationwide groundswell of enthusiasm for RV travel. Thank you for helping make National Go RVing Day a success.
