The RV Industry Association (RVIA) is the chief source of insightful market data focusing on RV wholesale shipments, RV industry trends and consumer research of RV owners and prospective owners, according to a News & Insights report by the RVIA.

In 2021, RVIA brought a tremendous amount of data on RV buyers to members with the release of the Go RVing RV Owner Demographic Profile and the 2020 RV Buyers survey. These reports provided deep insights and perspectives on the demographics and ownership habits of RV owners, former RV owners, RV intenders, and new 2020 RV buyers.

In 2022, the association will continue to lead the industry in data with the release of the updated RVs Move America Economic Impact Study and an updated look at 2020/2021 RV buyers, as well as the first-ever, comprehensive study of campground inventory and amenities across the public and private sectors and an all-new Go RVing Path to Purchase Study. The Path to Purchase study will have two segments, one that looks at the purchase journey for new buyers and one that looks at what the path was for current RV owners.

“Our goal is to ensure RV Industry Association members have access to the data they need to assist in making informed, data-driven business decisions in an evolving RV market,” said RV Industry Association Senior Director of Membership & Research Bill Baker. “We are excited to be updating two of our most popular pieces of research in 2022, as well as bringing two pieces of all-new research to the membership that will provide insight on the path to purchase for RV buyers and the most comprehensive understanding of the campground ecosystem.”

This research, along with the vital monthly shipment data and quarterly forecasts, is a benefit of membership in the RV Industry Association. Membership renewals are currently underway for 2022. Renew today to ensure access to the upcoming research.
