“Outlook 2017: The Road to Success,” will jumpstart the Recreation Vehice Industry Association’s (RVIA) National RV Trade Show on Nov. 29 with an informative multi-media program that offers an overview of the industry’s successes over the past year, as well as a look to the future. The show takes place Nov 28–Dec. 1 at the Kentucky Exposition Center (KEC) in Louisville.

As reported by RVIA Today Express, the free event for registered attendees begins at 7 a.m. with a breakfast in the KEC South Wing Mezzanine Ballroom. The program portion begins at 7:30 a.m. More than 1,000 RV dealers and show exhibitors are expected to be on hand for entertaining and insightful presentations.

Hosted by RVIA Chairman Bob Parish, “Outlook 2017: The Road to Success” will feature a compelling keynote address sponsored by Truma Corp. from Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger, who rose to international prominence when he successfully executed an emergency water landing in the Hudson River off Manhattan. While best known for the “Miracle on the Hudson,” Sullenberger now works as an aviation safety expert and accident investigator. He serves as the CBS News Aviation and Safety Expert, and is the founder and CEO of Safety Reliability Methods, Inc., a company dedicated to management, safety, performance and reliability consulting.

At the Outlook breakfast, Sullenberger will tell his story of dedication and preparedness, revealing the important lessons he learned through his life, in his military service, and in his work as an airline pilot. He will share details from the 208 seconds that put his career on the line. Sullenberger will show how preparation, training and leadership makes a difference when confronted with a challenge.

Outlook 2017 will also feature RVIA President Frank Hugelmeyer sharing thoughts on the state of the industry and his vision for the future.

The industry’s Go RVing and public relations team will deliver a multi-media presentation highlighting the most impactful advertising and public relations achievements in 2016, while previewing key findings from a landmark consumer psychographic study from Nielsen. The presentation will be led by Go RVing Co-Chairs Bob Wheeler and Tom Stinnett and RVIA PR Committee Chairman Chad Reece.’

The “Outlook 2017: The Road to Success” program and breakfast are free for attendees on a first-come, first-served basis. All National RV Trade Show attendees are welcome, and no reservations are necessary. Show registration will be available in the South Wing Lobby C Entrance prior to the event.
