Search and rescue efforts expanded Wednesday (Oct. 10) for the four people who were swept away Monday when heavy rains caused the South Llano River to overflow, wiping out theSouth Llano River RV Park & Resort in Kimble County, Texas, according to mysanantonio.com.
Twenty people are searching along the river with at least three rescue dogs, while Texas Parks and Wildlife personnel also deployed a drone.
Weather conditions were more favorable Wednesday after rain hampered search efforts Monday and Tuesday. A helicopter was deployed and there is a temporary flight restriction over the area until further notice.
Earlier in the week 45 people were evacuated and 19 rescued from flood waters.
