WACO Conference

200-plus attendees enjoyed spending time together, attending educational sessions, and playing BIngo on Wednesday (March 17).

The in-person Wisconsin Association of Campground Owners (WACO) conference is off to a great start, according to Lori Severson, executive director of the association.

With social distancing protocols in place, attendees enjoyed numerous opening day sessions, meals together, and even some Bingo on Wednesday (March 17) evening. The expo, which starts tomorrow afternoon, is currently in the construction phase, but more than 160 vendors are expected to take part in the conference.

Many attendees noted to WOODALLSCM.com that they enjoyed getting together at an in-person event, the first one for many Wisconsin park owners since last year’s WACO conference.

The second day of the conference is set to feature another full-day of educational sessions. Rebecca Kleefisch, the former lieutenant governor of Wisconsin, is set to speak during lunch.
