The Shenandoah National Park near Luray, Va., reports one of its campgrounds will be closed temporarily, according to a report by CBS19 News.
According to a release, the Lewis Mountain Campground, which is located at mile 57.5 on Skyline Drive, will be closed to allow for the removal of hazardous trees.
The park says the campground will close Friday (April 9) at 12 p.m. The work to remove the trees may take between two and five days.
The release says the Big Meadows Campground, located at mile 51.2 on Skyline Drive, is open.
