Southeast Publications, a campground guest guide publisher, has increased its digital footprint and released analytics of their digital media channels, according to a press release.
The report was created to provide transparency to Southeast Publications advertisers and RV resorts that utilize its free digital promotional service.
“Recently, we noticed a web page that indicated that we stated there were 45,000 visitors to our site per month, noted Kim Warrick, owner of Southeast Publications. “We then realized that this understated our actual traffic numbers. So, we wanted to be certain that the information on the web, pertaining to our company and its claims, is accurate.”
Southeast Publications uses MobileRVing.com, The RV Bunch (A Facebook Group), Their MobileRVing 4.0 Application (Available on Google Play and iTunes), and their newsletter, to promote campgrounds and sponsors of the campground industry.
“Our partner campgrounds are featured on all of our digital media channels,” explained Brian McGuinn, director of marketing. “We only plan to grow from here. Our goal is to display the best outdoor recreational properties and sponsors to the masses.”
Southeast Publications partners are given a “Preferred Property” designation on the MobileRVing.com website and mobile application. The search shows Preferred Properties at the top of a user’s query, then it shows boondocking locations and then other campgrounds that have not discovered Southeast Publications services yet. In addition, Preferred Properties are often highlighted in their weekly RV Bunch newsletter that has over 120,000 opt-in subscribers.
“Our newsletter gives our audience the best resorts and campgrounds nationwide,” noted McGuinn. “Our newsletter is growing by about 2,000 new subscribers per week.”
Sponsors of Southeast Publications Guest Guides offer travelers options for their needs on the road. The company’s mobile application allows travelers to search “Businesses Near Me,” and all businesses within a 100-mile radius will appear in order by distance to their exact location. Users can categorize these businesses to refine their search.
“Our goal is to become the largest and most reliable resource for RV travelers and campers. In turn, our advertising and campground partners will prosper through our efforts.” states McGuinn.”
According to resources within the company, Southeast Publications is already working on deploying new marketing channels to increase their digital reach and web referral base. Currently, MobileRVing.com connects with over 500 camping related websites.
