Southeast Publications held its 23rd Annual Fall Meeting in Pembroke Pines, Fla., at C.B. Smith Park last week.
Sales associates from all of the U.S. and Canada came together for a week long training and awards conference to keep up to date with company information, sales training and informative department updates from the corporate office management team, according to a news release.
Aside from all of the training and presentations, the sales associates also had the opportunity to participate in the annual golf tournament, Peter Warrick’s famous hot dog cookout, Halloween costume party, annual awards dinner and the annual Kampgrounds of America (KOA) Care Camps Auction.
The sales associates are now energized and committed to the 2013 sales theme: DREAM TEAM 2013
Every year the company’s sales associates participate in auctions at the spring and fall meetings to raise funds to benefit the KOA Care Camps, a non-profit organization that help send kids with cancer to special camps where they can enjoy camping and recreation experiences.
At the meeting, sales associates came together to raise the most money ever. They will be making a check presentation at the 2012 KOA 50th Anniversary Annual Convention & Expo being held in Orlando, Fla., Nov. 15-18.
Southeast Publications is the second largest donor to KOA Care Camps with over $400,000 raised and donated since 1994.
