The Crowley-based Texas Association of Campground Owners (TACO) has partnered with Booking.com to help increase the occupancy of its affiliated campgrounds, RV parks and resorts.
“TACO is collaborating with Booking.com with the intention of driving more visitors to Texas,” said Brian Schaeffer, TACO’s executive director and CEO, adding that the partnership is particularly beneficial for TACO member parks with rental accommodations. “With individual cabins bookable in Texas on Booking.com, this is a great opportunity for our affiliated parks to list their properties and receive additional reservations. It’s completely free to sign up and our affiliates only pay commissions when a room or campsite is actually booked.”
Operating with a client base of travelers worldwide, Booking.com connects travelers with the world’s largest selection of incredible places to stay, including everything from apartments, vacation homes, and family-run B&Bs to resorts, tree houses and everything in between. The Booking.com website and mobile apps are available in 43 languages, offer over 1.4 million properties, and cover more than 120,000 destinations in 227 countries and territories worldwide.
“For those interested in a professionally made website for your accommodation, Booking.com can set it up for our members at no cost,” Schaeffer said.
