For the second time in five years, the Texas Association of Campground Owners (TACO) has given its Vendor of the Year award to Color Visual Concepts Inc., a family owned and operated printing company headquartered in Granbury, Texas.

As TACO noted in a news release, Color Visual Concepts Inc. was co-founded over 10 years ago by Peter Klingenberg and Amy Lane, who have run the business with their daughter, Jennifer McCann. They employ six full-time employees, including three graphic designers and several sales people at various locations around the country. Their son, Philip Klingenberg, recently joined the company as IT Director. Peter passed away March 24, but Amy told attendees at TACO’s Spring Convention in Kerrville that the business will continue.

“Not only do they provide outstanding work at a great price, but it’s really the customer service and personal touch that mean the most to us and our members,” said Brian Schaeffer, TACO’s executive director and CEO.

TACO uses Color Visual Concepts to print the TACO Twister as well as banners, stationery and business cards.

Amy Lane said the company provides printing services to support the marketing and trade show needs of scores of campgrounds, RV parks and resorts. Its products include site maps, wallboards, flyers, rack cards, banners as well as tote bags, pens, pencils and other items with customized printing.

Color Visual Concepts started out servicing the needs of the hotel industry and now boasts a customer base of over 8,000 RV parks, resorts, hotels, chambers of commerce and other businesses.

Amy Lane and Jennifer McCann received the “Vendor of the Year” award on May 6 at TACO’s Spring Convention, which took place at Guadalupe River RV Resort in Kerrville.
