Under new ownership and with a new yellow sign to greet campers from across the country, the former Countryside Resort is now the Nashville East/Lebanon (Tenn.) Kampgrounds of America (KOA), the Lebanon Democrat and Wilson County News reported.
To celebrate these changes, the campground will hold an activity-packed event Saturday (Aug. 30) from 3-9 p.m.
“We’ll have great entertainment and fun events throughout the day,” said campground owner Libby Kaly, who purchased the campground with her husband, Ron. “There will be an ice cream social as well as horseshoe and corn hole tournaments, complete with prizes – and it’s all free. Delicious food will also be for sale.”
Located on Safari Camp Road, the Nashville East/Lebanon KOA offers recreational vehicle sites, as well as sites for tent camping. According to Kaly, the park continues to undergo a number of changes and updates and recently opened a newly remodeled, air-conditioned laundry facility.
