The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Stillhouse Hollow Lake is excited to announce that Union Grove Campground has reopened following the completion of major construction improvements, with campsites 1–12 now available for public use, according to a press release.
As part of the recent upgrades, campground site numbers have changed. Visitors are encouraged to carefully review the campground map and site details when making reservations to ensure they select their desired campsite.
“We appreciate everyone’s patience throughout construction and are excited to welcome visitors back to Union Grove Campground,” said Lake Manager John Thibodeaux. “These improvements allow us to offer more resilient, flood-resistant campsites while enhancing the overall camping experience for our guests.”
Additional campsites will open as construction is completed. Visitors should continue to check recreation.gov at https://www.recreation.gov/camping/campgrounds/232728 for the latest information on campsite availability and future openings.
