For two years, they rambled the highways in an RV, roaming the West then rolling into Canada.

They saved up for the big trip, with Robert Robak making his living in construction while Ardis Karr-Robak worked as a piano teacher, taking jobs at a senior center and even as a nanny.

Now they’ve settled down to jobs as activity directors at Park Place Estates RV Resort in Harlingen, Texas, the Valley Morning Star reported.

Early this year, they took jobs at an RV park in Ventura County, California, where he worked in security while she booked reservations.

Six months later, they pulled into Park Place.

“I had been wanting to get back into the activity business,” Karr-Robak said. “I like the senior population. I like being able to help people.”

Karr-Robak called her job a vital part of an RV park.
