Screen Shot 2015-01-30 at 12.06.50 PMThe Fountains Vacation Club and The Fountains Premier Motorcoach Resort received an overwhelming response during the Tampa (Fla.) RV Supershow, where they unveiled their new industry changing concept: The first-ever resort vacation club created for motorocoachers, according to an announcement from The Fountains. Members of the Fountains Vacation Club get the ability to stay at The Fountains flagship resort in St. Augustine, as well as other resorts worldwide.

When participants visited the booth and spoke with The Fountains representatives, common responses included “wow,” “about time” and “this is what we’ve always wanted,” the company said.  The positive reactions reflect consumers embracing this new concept that provides them with more flexibility to travel.

“The new concept we presented was met with overwhelming acceptance at the show,” stated Curt Geisler, CEO of The Fountains Vacation Club. “This is an idea I invented and have worked feverishly to develop over the last few years.  The market research we performed indicated that it would be well received, but this has exceeded our expectations, and it’s just the beginning.”

When joining The Fountains Vacation Club, members have use rights to the facilities that are part of the program.  The Fountains of St. Augustine will serve as the flagship resort with expectations for other locations to begin being developed as early as the end of this year. The St. Augustine location provides visitors with an endless amount of activities at the resort and the surrounding area. Whether someone is a coastal adventurer, history buff, sports fan or someone who likes to enjoy nature’s aesthetic beauty; there are plenty of activities to revel in.

To help members of The Fountains Vacation Club enjoy the flexibility of traveling where they’d like to go, The Fountains has also entered into an exclusive arrangement with RCI to provide members with access to the RCI platinum points program. The Fountainshare credits that are bought to join the vacation club program can be converted into RCI points and used at any of the 4,500 locations worldwide.

Prior to the opening of the first resort, The Fountains Vacation Club is offering several benefits for its charter members. These benefits include but are not limited to unit upgrades, priority access, golf discounts, shopping perks, food and beverage discounts and a charter member specialized membership card.

In addition, members will be automatically enrolled in a newly formed national motorcoach association called Ameri Motorcoach Association (AMA).  This organization offers benefits including discounts on retail, restaurant, travel, entertainment and prescription nationwide. As part of AMA, members will also be provided with access to a network of roadside assistance and road-hazard providers that are available around the clock throughout the United States and Canada.

With construction under way and the abundance of support seen at the Tampa RV Supershow, The Fountains Vacation Club is well on its way to its goal of becoming the ultimate way to travel for those who enjoy luxury, leisure and entertainment, according to the company.
