“The Rally,” the nation’s largest RV rally, officially got underway Thursday (July 14) in  Redmond, Ore.
Early reports show 2,600 coaches/trailers on site at the Deschutes County Fairground in  Redmond and that things were going according to plan.
Bobby Vinton entertained the RVers Thursday night.

The Rally, presented by DISH Network, features more than 1,000 new units on display from the leading manufacturers and dealers in the United States. In addition, 500 booths are displaying the latest in all RV products, gadgets, and services, including exciting RV travel. There are more than 30 seminars scheduled for each day.
A dog show was scheduled for this morning.
One of the most popular exhibits at The Rally, the online area has been expanded to accommodate the growing number of RVers who travel with laptops and enjoy Internet access.
Hosting organizations include the Good Sam Club, Camping World President’s Club, Coast to Coast Resorts, Trailer Life and MotorHome magazines and Woodall’s, publishers of Woodall’s Campground Management and WOODALLSCM.com.
The Rally concludes on Sunday.
