image003“National Parks Adventure,” Brand USA’s giant-screen movie — which showcases the incredible beauty of our national parks — has been seen more than 2.4 million times in 98 markets worldwide in just the first six months, according to an announcement from the American Recreation Coalition.

The film, narrated by Robert Redford, is the highest-grossing documentary of 2016 so far, beating out competition from other giant-screen films and Hollywood, with an estimated $16.8 million in worldwide ticket sales through August.

The film’s public-relations campaign has generated more than 6.4 billion impressions, with an additional billion impressions generated by other exhibitors and partners.  And the film is succeeding in generating greater interest in visiting the United States, with more than 80% of international viewers saying they’re much more, or somewhat more likely to visit the U.S. after seeing the film.
