One of the RVs that will appear on the Travel Channel’s TV special dubbed “Mega RV Countdown” on Jan. 6.

The Travel Channel will premiere “High Noon Entertainment’s” 1-hour network TV special dubbed “Mega RV Countdown” at  8 p.m. PST/EST on Jan. 6, examiner.com reported.

“High Noon Entertainment” — the shingle behind shows like HGTV’s “House Hunters,” TLC’s “Cake Boss” and the DIY Network’s “Disaster House” — began scouring North America for Mega RVs back in May 2012 when High Noon’s dedicated team of Denver, Colo.-based producers and researchers started working through a veritable smörgåsbord of recreational vehicles from luxurious Prevost-based motor coaches to cutting edge design icons like the GMC motorhome and the celebrated Greyhound Scenicruiser.

Of course, no self-respecting Mega RV network TV show would be complete without a couple of self-built motorhomes or travel trailers so expect to see at least one pimped out DIY RV showcased on the show – possibly a converted school bus or fire truck or perhaps a brace of spectacular RV creations like Russ Moen’s super cool Chevy cabover motorhome and Randy’s Grubb’s matchless Deco Liner
