Campground Views Potential campers looking to visit the Tucson/Lazydays Kampgrounds of America (KOA) Resort in Tucson, Ariz., have a new tool to plan their stay, according to a press release.

The RV park has launched a Campground Virtual Tour of the entire property. The technology was teased several years ago by KOA as part of the “Campground of the Future” display at RVX. The Campground Virtual Tour allows potential guests to see the roads, sites and the overall landscaping of the flagship property, all while getting specific information on individual campsites within the property.

“We are excited to try out this new technology to help improve the guest experience at our property” stated Kimberly Wootteon, senior director of marketing and revenue management for KOA OAK. KOA OAK is the corporate-owned segment of KOA’s parks. “We thank the Arizona Office of Tourism and Campground Views for making this happen.”

Tucson/Lazydays KOA Resort offers Pull-thru RV Sites with full 30/50-amp hookups, grassy luxury sites and RV sites with a KOA Patio and a fireplace. Two-bedroom Deluxe Cabins feature all the comforts of home including linens, temperature control and a fire experience, noted the release. Tent sites are also available. The completed installation of the two PowerParasols solar shade structures allows guests to camp, gather and even barbeque under a patented structure that produces clean solar energy. Onsite amenities include onsite food and beverage from BBQ Rush, two pools, mini golf, a nine-hole putting course, a fully stocked camp store and more.

The Campground Virtual Tours were developed independently by Campground Views Inc. and previously launched with now over 875 campgrounds and RV parks, with over 35,000 campsites available to campers. Heralded by campers as the “Holy Grail” for modern-day campers, the tool reduces barriers to the outdoors by making it easier for potential campers to see, tour and pick their perfect campsite, explains the release.

The Arizona Office of Tourism funded the project as part of the Outdoor Recreation Revitalization Program to aid industries impacted by the COVID pandemic. Outdoor recreation has experienced a spike in participation straining resources of campgrounds and RV parks. The Campground Virtual Tours were identified as a valuable tool to improve the camper experience while also benefiting the Outdoor Recreation destinations within the State of Arizona.

250 non-state-owned properties within the State of Arizona are eligible for potential inclusion in this program. Interested park owners and operators are encouraged to visit for more information: https://www.campgroundviews.com/arizona-free-opportunity/
