Two men were arrested in the burglaries last month of 49 camping trailers at the Red Ridge Lake Campground in Pennsylvania’s Schuylkill County have been arraigned, police said Tuesday (Dec. 27).

The Allentown Morning Call reported that James McCabe Jr., 19, of Ringtown, Schuylkill County, was arrested Dec. 1 and accused of the break-ins, which happened at the campground Nov. 15-18.

State police from Frackville arrested Jesse Ray Collmorgen Jr., 20, of Hemstead, Texas, on Nov. 18 after campground staff found him asleep in one of the campers, police said.

McCabe and Collmorgen allegedly stole several valuables from the campers. The campground is west of Hazleton.

The two were arraigned by District Judge Elizabeth A. Romig last Wednesday on charges of burglary, conspiracy, criminal trespass, theft and criminal mischief.

They were committed to Schuylkill County Prison under $50,000 bail each.
