Under Canvas, Bozeman, Mont., has announced the opening of Under Canvas Tucson at Tanque Verde Ranch in Arizona on Dec. 13, according to a press release.
Open December through April 2019, “Under Canvas will offer a winter glamping escape at America’s oldest dude ranch, providing an authentic Western experience for travelers,” according to the release.
Nestled among the Rincon Mountains and adjacent to Saguaro National Park and Coronado National Forest, the Tanque Verde Ranch property offers views of the mountainous desert landscape. Among the ranch’s 60,000 acres, Under Canvas Tucson will feature 26 safari-style tents including the Deluxe, Stargazers and Suites that feature en-suite bathrooms.
Under Canvas guests will have access to the full-service dude ranch’s onsite amenities, including La Sonora Spa, an outdoor pool, a fitness center, The Dog House Saloon, an on-site restaurant serving southwestern cuisine and more.
Under Canvas’ team of activity coordinators can offer customizable itineraries for travelers. Activities include: swimming, tennis, basketball, horseback riding, mountain biking, fishing, yoga, hiking and jeep tours.
Tanque Verde Ranch also offers a daily kids program full of fun activities such as arts and crafts, nature programs and basic horse training.
The Under Canvas glamping outpost in the Old West provides guests daily housekeeping, king size beds, the option for in-tent bathrooms and showers, wood-burning stoves for warmth, bedside charging stations and private decks for late night stargazing.
In addition, tents will be outfitted with items from the new Under Canvas home collection including custom blankets, throw pillows and robes. The new canvas collection is 100% U.S. grown organic cotton and handmade in the U.S.
