“Bakersfield has a strong and loyal RV community, and Orange Grove RV Park has been a cornerstone of that community for years,” said CEO Robert Preston. “We are honored to be trusted with its future. Our team is already on the ground making improvements and building relationships with guests — because at Unhitched, people always come first. We can’t wait to show the Central Valley what the Unhitched experience looks and feels like.”

About Orange Grove RV Park

Situated in the heart of Bakersfield, Orange Grove RV Park offers 242 total RV and storage sites, including 177 full-hookup sites featuring electric, water, and sewer connections; 14 dry campsites; 18 storage sites; 15 overflow water and electric sites; and 10 overflow electric-only sites. The park accommodates rigs of all sizes.

The park’s long-standing appeal stems from its central location, affordable rates and well-rounded amenity package, which includes:

  • Resort-style swimming pool
  • Laundry facilities
  • Restrooms and shower facilities
  • Wi-Fi access throughout the park
  • Pull-through and back-in sites to accommodate all rig configurations
  • Pet-friendly environment
  • On-site management and 24-hour security

Under Unhitched Management’s stewardship, guests can expect immediate improvements to curb appeal, common areas, and guest communications, with a longer-term roadmap focused on upgraded amenities, landscaping and community programming. Unhitched Management brings operational best practices from its growing portfolio of RV properties across America, applying proven systems for maintenance, reservation management and guest satisfaction.

Orange Grove RV Park’s location makes it an ideal base for travelers passing through or exploring California’s Central Valley. Bakersfield sits at the convergence of Highway 99 and Interstate 5, placing guests within easy reach of the Sierra Nevada foothills, Sequoia National Park, the California coast via Highway 178, and the greater Los Angeles metro area.

The park’s Brundage Lane address provides quick access to local dining, shopping and Bakersfield’s vibrant country music heritage — a fitting stop for the adventurous RV traveler.
