The Greene County (Va.) Board of Supervisors voted to approve a 144-unit glamping park that would include a restaurant, pool, spa and meeting center, according to CBS 19 News.

Both the rezoning and the special use permit were approved by a vote of 3-2.

Tuesday’s (June 28) vote changes the zoning for the property to allow the plan from Crimson Rock Capital to move forward.

People lined up to speak in opposition to the project and even against the members of the board.

One person raised concerns about the location being across the street from a school. Another mentioned traffic concerns, again concerning the school.
