Jim Rogers, CEO of Kampgrounds of America Inc. (KOA), talked with Woodall’s Campground Management Publisher Sherman Goldenberg about the recently concluded 50th Anniversary KOA Convention in Orlando, Fla. Rogers updates KOA’s 2012 performance and outlines the company’s new brand positioning of KOA campgrounds in three categories: journey, holiday and resort. Finally, Rogers discusses his taping in June of an episode of CBS TV’s “Undercover Boss” in which he went undercover posing as a workamper into five KOA campgrounds.
