More than 40 vintage travel trailers will be on display this Saturday (Oct. 13) at the “Goin’ with the Flo Vintage Trailer Rally” in Florence, Ore., according to KVAL.

The event runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Port of Siuslaw Campground in Old Town Florence.

The trailers will be set up “with colorful awnings, period décor, and some with matching color-schemed cars,” organizers said. “Meet the owners, ask questions about do-it-yourself vintage trailer restorations, and learn about this growing-in-popularity travel hobby that preserves the existence of these rare rigs from the beginnings of the of the road-tripping vacation era.”

The trailers will be traveling, so you just might get a glimpse of one en route to the event.

“Keep your eyes peeled as you travel to and from Florence on Highways 101 and 126 for several days before and after the event,” said Event Coordinator Terry Abeyta. “Participants will tour down Bay Street in Old Town as they arrive in town on Friday and again as they depart throughout the day Sunday.”
